PAX Academy is a registered and accredited private K-12 school based in the state of Maryland. It was founded in January 2023 by Angela Harders, a former public school special education teacher and the author of the best-selling book, Tales of a Toxic Teacher: Exposing the Cycles of Abuse Within Our Schools.

Angela has been practicing unschooling (or “Peaceful Worldschooling” as she likes to call it) with her own two children for over 9 years, and she has helped hundreds of families to embrace living and learning with freedom and fun!
